About Me

Ehehe... my vile corruption of a breathless quote by that ballerina in Pedro Almodovar's "Talk to Her"... from the earth the ethereal, from beasts flowers, and from man woman and vice versa...
Something Lovely

This is so very strange, I cannot edit my posts. Ehehe... so anything is for ever. Anyway just trying see if it works, i.e. to get to the editing page. At least it's free. So no complaints from me.

Attended luna-id's staging of "Quills", script was really not too shabby but ze acting's somewhat otherwise. Lim Kay Tong eructed his signature stoic-ness in rippling streams, rather astonishingly stoic he was, in scenes of great anguish, pathos, and import, he kept his wrinkled mein quite, quite free of emotion. The actresses were cut from the same metre of overacting, balancing Mr. Lim's fervent internalising, and declaimed in rojak-ish accents, while striking funny attitudes. The Marquis, convincing at first, shrank once shorn of his coverings, his corpus denuded of impact. The Abbe was perhaps the best actor, his stolid habitus belying certain thespian talents, his reactions achieving a semblance of truth. Someplace into the 1st act we became quite aware that we were watching a local production. We became entirely capable of giggling. Dinner at Liang Court, I took Ebi with condiments and J ingested half-thawed noodles. Ehehe.
