Havent written for a while... ehehe but nothing exciting, really. Watched "The Graduate" some time ago... soundtrack suffused with gently wicked charm of Simon & Garfunkel... Anne Bancroft so feral and hungry. She was also beautiful. Also Francois Ozon's "5x2", not half as amusing as "8 Femmes" or strangely limpid as "Swimming Pool" but still sit-throughable. All those actors aren't much in ze looks bureau, but shine they do with a mysterious something that must have something to do with plein air sun and wine and lazy smiles. As one grows older one realises the world is full of "people who don't have mirrors in their houses" (ehehe J you must know this, a mere mote of time ago). We preserve ourselves from hubris and banality. The trees look nicely evergreen. I like smells, even some insalubrious ones. Cynicism is all very well, but we have our leetle shameful indulgences, and golden, scorched, sunlight thro' leaves sentimentality is such fun with a song.
