Watched "Peter Pan", with jolly Victorian-Edwardian London scenes (all airbrushed into hyper-reality of course), a rather toothy Wendy and the most lovable scamp of a Pan ever. But itched for "Second Star to the Right" when they flew over the chiminey tops, and what's with "mysteriously evul" Asians (i.e. the slithery mermaids) when that sort of thing is flagrantly lazy and quite, quite boo-boo. Still the plot stays almost true to the book, awfully compressed of course, and the movie is delightful in spite of everything. The girlslut from "Swimming Pool" is Tinkerbell, which sort of makes sense.
