Watched BBC just now where Tony Blair with his cute accent was making the most convoluted and vapid excuses for the War on Iraq, thanking sweaty glum British soldiers and ignoring the intrepid, wind-swept reporter who reported against a dark and glowering Basra, most dashing he'd have been but for craggy lines conspicuous even under baad lighting.
Was watching "Paris When It Sizzles" and Audrey enchants as she always does... ah but Givenchy was a genius, non? Saw a picture of Audrey in this book from the library where she looked horrifically charred in a wrinkling tan tres chic circa 1960... tsk tsk and she never really recovered after that period. But she was always angelic, though not eternally preserved... and her eyes they dimmed not :). |
